The Center of Anna Maria Island

Due to the impending threats of potential TS 16 or as we un-affectionately call it, “Nestor,” the street festival on Pine Avenue will not take place this Saturday, October 19th. High winds of 20-30 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph make hosting Bayfest as we know it, un-safe for our participants and visitors. We’ve all dealt with heavy rains, but this storm may bring us torrential downpours and ankle-deep standing water. NO FUN.
After much thought and consideration, and in true Island spirit, we have made the decision to make the best of a bad situation. We are turning Bayfest into a party at The Center; “Bayfest 2.0 -Reimagined!” Bands will be playing, drinks will be flowing and food from island AMI Chamber members will be served! Unfortunately, due to space constraints, we will not be able to accommodate any of our scheduled craft vendors, but we would love to see our island residents and visitors rally and join us for “Bayfest 2.0 – Reimagined”.

Please come party with us from noon to 9 pm on Saturday, October 19th at The Center, 407 Magnolia Ave, Anna Maria, FL 34216

We would love to see your true island spirit!
